Well this weekend I added a new aftermarket head unit where the iPod goes inside of the unit. All of my music library at my fingertips with bluetooth to boot. The sound improvement over stock is fantastic and I love the handsfree calling as well. I did add the additional external microphone. It is awesome!!!
I would have never tried an install a few years ago as I am not very mechanically inclined, but thanks to this forum and you tube I decided to go for it. Granted it took me about 5 hours start to finish but it worked the first time with no issues. Thanks T4R.org
