YIKES! not good....dont remember hearing about that i dont think. and yeah that night i kept thinking i heard shots (real far away tho)...but it turned out to be nothing. nonetheless we hurried to get the hell outta there LOL and there was not any no trespassing signs posted until the next morning!
 
He is correct though, there are a lot of people on here that would immediately yell USE THE SEARCH feature but some of those same people do not tell you to do it. I am also assuming for the reason he mentioned. I notice you did try a search but did not use the proper term when searching, hence my reply giving brief overview and then what you need to use as your search terms. In fact most of us long term members will give a short answer and then tell them to search for more in depth.

SEARCH a locker affects traction and doesnt have much to do with steering.....other than if you install it in the front end can make it more difficult..... LOL

1 of my friends and 2 ppl he was with were shot and killed riding 4wheelers on this guys property. The guy was an old war vet and ended up killing himself the next day.
 
There is a lot of info here to search for. But if got here because people posted questions and others answered them. If the answer to every question is going to be "do a search", this place will become boring and quiet very quick. I have heard this crap on every forum i have been a member of. There is always someone that designates themselves the search police. Heaven forbid the same question ever gets asked or answered twice. I have recommended searches before when i know the info is out there to be found. But i never do it with the attitude that some around here do. If you see something that seems redundant to you, just find that thing at the top called the "back button" and step aside and let someone else that is willing try to help. Its not like there are thousands of unnecessary posts to weed through here everyday.

The reason all big property land owners (more than 50 acres in MD) are suggested to post signs with words and pictures on their land (for the idiots who cannot read) as well as with gates and chains so to deter folks from:

1. Hunting and or taking of any game on the property illegally.
2. Growing any illegal substances on said property.
3. Preventing injury to trespassers so that said property owner will not incur fiscal damages if trespass occurs.

When I was a kid kid, I could cut through yards, pastures, fields, etc. and only get yelled at. Today, however, folks shoot first and ask questions later.

Agreed, SCR. Hence, the reason you'll almost never see me yell "Search function you douchebag" or something like that. I help people because - brace yourselves, people, this is a novel concept - helping people is a good thing to do. LOL

Of course, having been on this board for a few months, it's fairly obvious that Va4runnerchic isn't afraid to

a) use the search and
b) work on her vehicle.

Hell, she's done stuff that I'll readily admit I'll probably take to the shop. Not that I can't do it; but I don't have the knowledge off the top of my head, and don't have the time or desire to get too involved in a project right now.
