How can I turn the fan on and just get fresh air without having the AC come on? I push on the AC button and nothing happens. Do I have to turn the temperature up in order to not have the AC on? I'm not a big fan of AC, so I would just like to have the fan on circulating fresh outside air. My 4th Gen. this was to problem. Thanks.

If you turn it all the way to cold, it defaults to AC. So just turn it one notch off that and you should be fine. Make sure recirculate is off.

Yep, AC comes on automatically when you turn the temp dial all the way to the left. It says "Max AC" or something if you look closely. Also, the AC automatically turns on when in the defrost vent mode, though the light doesn't come on for some reason. I believe it also does in the "foot and defrost" mode too.
