k, well there are 2 different sizes for the neo wedges that the dash takes. the 3 for climate control, and the 3 or 4 for the ect power, defroster, and rear window. what sizes are the 2 different ones

yea its an sr5 with the non digital climate control. as far as the smaller buttons (etc power and defrost) they should be the same.
from what i believe i need a shorter fatter bulb for the 3 climate control knobs

got my 24's in today, as well as my led front turn signals, and my new electronic flasher unit. fingers crossed that it all works

flasher unit doesnt work. go figure. but i got the key ring bulb in, and for some reason i cannot find a bulb that will fit the cig lighter ring......
dash bulbs in tonight after i get off work.
so far i have the key ring, drive selector, ash tray, and glove box taken care of.
still plenty more to come, with a complete list and pictures of everywhere, and what kind of bulbs were used so future enthusiasts do not receive the headache i am

they will freak out and hyper flash like you have a burnt out bulb if you dont put in an electronic flasher unit instead of the traditional factory flasher relays. just ordered one at autozone and its going to be here in the morning. hopefully this one works...

alright, update time.....
got the gauge lights in and yes they are 24's for the cluster. went with 2 white on the outside, and the middle bulb blue, got a little fade going on. and if i change my mind i just have to put in one of the white 24's.
electronic flasher unit is ordered and should be here tomorrow. hopefully i will have full working led turn signals and flashers by tomorrow afternoon.
might end up seeing if i can change out the bulbs in the window switches to blue as well.
so far bulbs used
24's: 3 for cluster gauges
74's: 6 for turn signal flashers, automatic shifter selector, glove box, ash tray,
and key ring
still researching to find out exactly what bulbs i need for the climate control, etc power, window defogger, and rear window buttons. as for the cig lighter ring, it says it takes a 74, but the thing wont stay in place, and i tried a 24 just for kicks and its way to big. if anyone has any suggestions on that it would be much appreciated.
you can use 74's for just about every other light you can imagine behind the gauges, seat belt lights, abs, any of that from what i saw. but in all fairness i didnt pull them all out to look at them, so they may be a different size.
and for the record Sylvania's auto replacement guide is not 100% accurate for a 2001. i may be sending a frustrated email to them very very soon.

hmmm, strike the window switch idea.....
and i did the same thing with the bulb. it wouldn't budge and i ended up breaking it on accident, digging out all the glass, and putting on some safety goggles and using compressed air to blow out what was left. now by component bulb what do you mean? just a generic led bulb that you attached in there somehow?

alright new update. changed the blue center bulb on the dash to white for a cleaner look instead of the blue, and got the adapter for the rear window antenna so i can use that instead of the retractable.
electronic flasher for the turn signals still didnt work, so i need to return that now too.....

now i started off with the fade, and liked it, but after a night thought to myself that it didnt have a "clean" enough look for me. therefore i switched over and did all white, but this is now out there for those of you that wish to do a fade look to see.

as for the sites we use they are mainly automotive bulbs but im sure you could find something if you really researched
plus i dont think l.e.d.'s would work for that

so does anyone know if an 01 with a non digital climate control takes t3, t4, or t5 bulbs
and which of those sizes are supposed to fit in the etc power and defroster spots?

i just need to figure out the exact size of the climate control bulbs still. im waiting on a return and refund from v-leds so i can get some more parts from them.
but my traction control is disabled for some reason i believe. working on that problem too

hear is what you need for an 01 i thought i had a better list but these ones i know for sure!
you need three #174 (dash/speedo)
#194 (shifter)
these are the ones i was unclear (sorry)
#74 or 24's ( for the climate control)
and the key ring I BELIEVE is a 194
Rear defrost, ECT, rear window buttons need the neo wedge's type A?
this is what i bought and i got them from autoluimination almost a year ago the only one that burned out was the #194 in the shifter, it was the one that spit into 3 too! everything else is running strong! (knock on wood)
but this is what i got. yes there are hot spots but whatever its cooler than the green!
