SOS brake squeal

I swapped my 2006 front brake rotors with 5th gen parts all made by centric, including the semi metallic brake pads on July 25, about 2500-3000 miles ago and just this week my front brakes have started squealing like a banshee at low speeds
I went out and tried to reseat the brakes getting up to 50-80 and slowing quickly with out skidding
On my third time doing it I heard a sound similar to a fan spinning for just a moment and then it went away.
What happened with that and would it be worth it to pursue a fix or cut my losses on the $30 pads and get a better set?

Front OEM pads are ceramic. Semi-metallic can cause noise issues. I would just replace the front pads with a good ceramic (ex: Akebono ACT976).

i think theres several different types of pad material. one of them will stop better than the other. then one will make the wheels dirtier than other. hope you guys do a full brake fluid flush when you guys do brakes.
