Are there any places to wheel in the Columbia area? Gulches is upstate SC, could be a good central location for a NC/SC group ride.

I'm attempting to get a group together at gultches the 29th of this month for a day trip. you could either drive in that morning or come in friday stay the night (theres some cabins and local areas to stay at) and ride all day saturday. Let me know if anyone is interested in going.

29th may work for me if there is any more interest. I know there is a group ride up at Beasley Knob that day over on ExPo, but I'd like to try out gulches. Keep us updated! If not then, I would be down for a late winter/early spring ride.

haha I hear ya. It's hard to be able to saying yes or no yet. Will kinda of have to see how family plans pan out. I'd love to make it though. Haven't gotten really push my 4runner yet.

Nevermind. Not going to be able to make it. I've had some stuff come up. I'd be interested in trying to get together a meet though. Maybe late winter/early spring? If we started trying to plan it now, maybe we could get up a pretty good group of people to go ride and camp for whoever wants to.

I spoke with some others interested in going as well and we decided it best to push the trip back into January or February whenever we could get a better matched up weekend for everyones schedule.
If you have any dates in mind post them up we can discuss what the best time might be I'm pretty open for the first of the year no plans really until late march early April.

No dates that really jump out to me. January or February will work for me. Just shout out a date and lets work for that. What works for you?

best thing to do would be to pick a Saturday in Jan or Feb. The only Saturday that is not good for me is Feb 2nd. Its a 3-4 hour ride for most of us, so I may ride up Friday night, stay overnight, wheel on Saturday and then head home Sat night? Or maybe stay Sat night and do some more wheeling on Sunday depending.......
