Southern AZ CB Radio Use?

So I'm looking at installing a CB Radio on my 2013. I've NEVER had a CB Radio, but I believe they can be very useful given that many parts of Southern AZ have little cell service and that in a group setting it could be extremely useful. Anyone have any better insight if having one in Souther AZ (Tucson and lower) is a good thing...will I get some good use out of it?

I went out a few weeks ago with the Tucson Rough Riders and they had CB's in all their vehicles. They use it as their method of communication when they are out. I do want to also get a CB now too, but I think just for the occasional 4x4 event I might just do a hand held CB radio.
