And... just eye bolts are available on SSO's website now. I wanted the drop-in or roll-in nuts though.

I'm using these with 1/2" long button head screws. They have been fine for holding my awning and several tie down points in place. If I need to add some I just remove 3 screws at one end of the crossbar, lift it up and slide in what I need, then redo the crossbar screws. Still basically a dollar a pop but in a 25 pack it seems more palatable.

No idea, brother. I’m actually using the Rhino Rack mounts with the ARB awning. For me it was all about clearance height because of the parking garage where I live.

Those appear to be for a metric size slot as well as a different profile cut. I tried some we had at work and they were too large for the 10 Series extrusions slots. You NEED parts for 80/20 Inc, 10 Series extrusions to be able to use the slots in the crossbars. Or you can drill through the crossbars to make any hardware fit.

You are aware the Batwing will not allow you to open your rear hatch when it is deployed don't you? I've wanted one for years, but just could not justify losing the ability to have full access to the back of the 4R.

I don’t know that this is true. I’ve seen pics where they raised that rear section of the batwing and then opened the rear hatch under it. Not ideal, but from what I saw it was doable. But honestly, I don’t see the point. If your going to open the hatch under the batwing, why get a batwing? Just open the hatch and use a standard awning.

Oh it's doable. But you'd be lucky to get the hatch open more than halfway before you hit the awning bar. I got this at Jambo knowing I was mounting it on my trailer. I already had it half bolted on the 4Runner so I just installed the other bracket and opened it to see what it was like. Raising the awning is one fix, but you'd have to raise it 8 or more inches to get all of the hatch opening, with the attendant potential for snagging it in a tree on trails. And the SSO rack sits lower so it aggravates the problem. Hence my normal ARB 2500.

I honestly can't say for sure. Mine is NOT a Foxwing, just that style. Mine has tube braces between the ribs for support while the Foxwing, and I assume the Batwing, both use a strap to the rack for tension. I know mine kept collapsing until I got the upper bracing in. I had to walk them around one at a time as I added the upper pieces. The Foxwing doesn't have legs IIRC, so it might be as simple as just removing the tensioning strap and swinging the last 2 ribs around for clearance. That's just additional work I was not willing to do to gain access.

I think 9 bucks might be worth the try for me. I'm still waiting on my rack though

I can't blame you for that, lol. I have a box of hardware I have collected since buying the rack. Some useful and some not. I'm just trying to help steer people clear of things that might NOT work. Trial and error can add up over time......
