Well, I'd be lying if I didn't pay a little extra out of pocket to get it here on time. But I figured vacation is the perfect time to test out the new rack, so it's money well spent.
Any update on yours? My shipping label was created last week and they said it was supposed to ship on friday, but fedex status is still at "shipping information sent to fedex".
I was hoping it would come sometime this week, but I am guessing that may be pushing my luck. I also have a trip coming up so it will be cutting it very close.

They closed up shop because of the storm. They plan to send them out this week

Installed 95% of it this past weekend. Bad news is that the wind fairing doesn’t line up with the bracket holes on both sides no matter how hard I try.
Contacted SSO on Monday and they said that they’ll have new brackets out to me by the end of the week. And strangely, they sent me white vinyl instead of clear and I have a gray 4Runner.
Hopefully I get the parts soon to complete the rack. Currently driving around with no wind fairing and it just looks...off...

I had to wedge a board under the rack to support it, and beat the hell out of it with a rubber hammer, but finally got the brackets to line up.
Other than that, it was an easy install.
I thought they sent me the wrong rack at first,,, it had light cutouts, I ordered one without cutouts.
They told me they are all the same now, all have cutouts, I told them they should update their website then, it still has the options.
No howling or whistles, but you definitely hear wind gusts at 70mph hitting it.
Took a quick glance inside the box and everything seems to be there -- including the 3 extra crossbars, all crossbars black anodized, and black hardware.
I'll know for sure once I start assembling it.
So that's everything packaged correctly and delivered 12 weeks (on time) after purchase date (even with a week shipping delay due to storms).
The box is well packaged. Everything is wrapped in plastic and the inside of the box is lined with foam. Pretty sure I have cancer from the foam now though.
Pleasantly surprised with how beefy and heavy the crossbars are.
I'll know for sure once I start assembling it.

Once assembled, the rack is stout AF
Sounds like most folks are recommending assembling the rack on the ground and then lifting it onto the mounts. I think I'm going to try that approach unless anyone here thinks that's a bad idea.

I built mine on the roof so I cannot confirm or deny.
Installed the rack tonight. Just followed the instructions instead of assembling the rack on the ground first.
Looks great. I'll take pictures tomorrow when it's daylight.
Kind of surprised there are no nuts for the bolts that bolt the rails to the brackets, and there are no nuts for the bolts that bolt the faring onto the rails.
I also wish there were some rubber gaskets when mounting the bracket to the vehicle. If you check out the Gobi instructions, they have like 3 different gaskets. SSO just has the spacers and you get paranoid and glob insane amounts of silicone over everything.

If it aint broke......
I have had zero issues with leaks...or bolts loosening up...except on the crossbars. I ended up putting a dab of blue locktight on every single crossbar screw because a few loosened on me. Be sure not to over tighten these and strip the allen head.
