Spacer help

06 SR5 wanting to add a spacer lift: Daystar 2.5f, 1.5r polyurethane
or 2.5f, 1.5r aluminum spacer? Is one better than the other?
What's the biggest size Bfg at's I can run on the stock 16" wheels
without having major rubbing. With or without 1.25 spidertrax?
All opinions will help

Yeah I read that. That post says a lot of things that contradict
each other. Don't get me wrong but some of it was helpful.

Could you elaborate what information contradicts itself and what wasn't fact? If you have correct information, it may help others.

I think generally, people prefer urethane much like isolators so your less likely to get squeaking and avoid metal to metal contact.That said, there are people running aluminum spacers without any issues. I have urethane and are happy with them. I don't see them compressing with time. I also believe the aluminum is only available for the fronts (?) so might as well go with urethane all the way around IMO.

The post you're referring to has been a sticky reference for sometime now and utilized consistently by people looking to lift. No one has found inaccurate or conflicting facts.

Please indicate where the issues are if your going to make a claim as such.

I don't have any additional info on tire size.

1st day on this forum but have been reading on this forum for over a year on this. I read that post. Just say'n...there are a lot of people running bigger tires with a smaller lift and back'n forth. Wheel spacers and none.....that was more like a "in general" info. Did he run all those? It was more like what you could and shouldn't. Kinda like no diving in the pool..... But you do type of thing.

Thanks Doug for you info. Just try'n to do it right the first time. There are a lot of nice and functional rides on here and see if I get the feedback I need.
