spacer install question/confirmation

installing spacers on 01 runner and just confirming that the studs on top the mount plate needs legnthened to accomidate the spacer correct??

Confirmed. Check the spacer kit and it should come with longer bolts.

Ok I bought the kit slightly used and it only.came with spacers any idea of ideal length of.bolts we should buy?

I ran into the same issue with my spacer kit. The big spacer part goes between the spring and the top hat. And the thin trim packers (small spacers) go over the new bolts between the top hat and the shock mount.

However ... if you have not installed the spacers yet, I HIGHLY recommend reconsidering and going with an actual suspension lift. I am willing to bet you will be very disappointed with the spacer lift and by that time you will have already sunk money into getting the shocks disassembled to fit the spacer in there, and then ~$70 to get the truck realigned. Trust me when I say the ride is going to SUCK!!!

I have had my spacer lift for about a year and a half and every day I regret ever spending money on it. The ride it really stiff and flat out uncomfortable so now I am currently in the process of piecing together new parts to replace the spacers with a true suspension lift (OME coils/shocks up front and LX450 coils in the rear). I know that hindsight is 20/20, but if I could do it all over again I would have saved my money and done it right the first time. I would highly recommend holding off on the spacers and save your money for a true suspension lift. In the long run it will be cheaper because you won't have to replace it when you are unhappy with it and the ride/comfort is infinately better.

My front spacers are Daystar KT09105 1" top-out (above the strut cartridge)
They came with (3) M10-1.25x50mm studs and (3) 10mm lock nuts

So just measure the old bolts and add whatever extra height for the spacer.
