Spacer Lift Options

I am looking for some clarification.

Does the daystar lift require you disassembly your coilover or can you just put the spring spacer in between the top hat and chassis mount?

What other spacers are available that would allow this type of spacer mounting to take place?

Thx

The Daystar fits on top of the shock/spring assembly. You do not have to disassemble the spring, and no spring compressors are required. If you don't have XREAS it's a pretty simple install. With XREAS it's a bit more complicated because the fluid lines restrict how far you can move the shock assembly, but it's still pretty straightforward. A proper sized ratcheting box-end wrench will greatly speed up removal and install of the three nuts on top of the shock.

Here are two pics, both after the Daystar lift. The first is with the old 265/65/17 tires, and the second is with my current 255/75/17 BFG KO2's. I'm pretty happy with how the lift came out.
