Spartan locker

Dang great feedback guys, exactly what I was looking for. With the amount and difficulty of wheeling I do it sounds like a aussie or spartan will fit the bill perfectly. I dont dd my truck so thats not even an issue for me.

Some good info here. I'm very close to ordering an Aussie for the front of my 3rd gen. Unlike with a rear mechanical locker, street driving in 2wd should be totally unaffected. And with only 33's and less than 2.5" of lift, I'm thinking my cv's should be ok.

I'm very happy with the Aussie in the front of my '94. I put manual hubs (got Aisins off ebay for $100) on at the same time, so when I'm driving on pavement in 2wd the whole thing just disappears. Works great on trails when I lock in the hubs. I think it's a great solution for a daily driver.
