Speakers making popping sound

2014 TEP with entune.

When using FM radio, I am getting a distinct popping sound.
It happens pretty regularly now, at about 30 second to 1 minute intervals.
Sometimes multiples 'pops' in sequence.
I have not attempted to isolate it to a specific speaker.
I have however discovered that it only happens while listening to a radio frequency.
It does not occur when using XM, Pandora, etc...

My first thought is FM Modulator or Antenna.

Is anyone else experiencing a similiar phenomenon?

Hi pho runna,

I doesn't sound like it's a stereo system related issue but rather, a local radio transmission issue. If it were your 'built-in' amplifier or pre-amp you'd be hearing it while listening to ALL other forms of media, Rgds!

I have the same thing happening to mine when listening to NPR, doesn't seem to happen to any other radio station tho. Pretty annoying I'd have to say.
