Speed Dials Self-Deleting

I updated to the newest GPS dvd back in December and didnt notice the speed dial dump until about a month ago. Iphone 5. It not only dumps the speed dials but the contact list too.

yup, that's it exactly. i haven't driven much in the past few days so can't say whether it's working again or not.

UPDATE: it's been 11 days since i "downgraded" to Toyota Nav disc 9.1 and all my contacts and speed dials are still there. i just re-added the iPhone 5 as a BT music player today without issue. still too soon to say for certain but my suspicion is that the bug is, in fact, in the Toyota Nav software/disc itself.

i was kicking myself when i updated the Nav and switched to the iPhone 5/new iOS almost simultaneously. first rule of troubleshooting: change one thing at a time. :nerd:

ONE MONTH UPDATE: all speed dials still in place; all contacts still in place; BT music streaming still working fine.

at this point, it seems pretty clear that the bug is in the Toyota Nav software. Nav disc 9.1 is working perfectly for me. :cell:

I'm surprised that more than just map data would be on the disk.
