Speedometer Calibration

Price BW? Ease of use when off-road?

It's free for me and I don't need it offroad. :p

Joking aside, the scan gauge looks tacky in my opinion and trans temp isn't that important to me. I haven't seen many Toyota's overheat a tranny unless towing or having cooling system issues too begin with. Everything else can be done at the shop or home (no point in checking DTCs or clearing them unless I can verify why it came on; which means diagnosing it more than would be useful on the go.)

Post Note- Do they make a Bluetooth one for your phone? That would be a nice way to not have a tacky looking LCD on my dash.

I understand the tacky view but I'm more about function than form. I had a pesky intermittently bad ABS sensor wire that took a while to locate since sometimes it was good, sometimes bad. Typically it was bad when on a trail - a couple pushes of a button and I'd regain traction control. Good to have off-road.

I do pull a trailer over the high passes (12 - 14K) here in CO so tranny temps are pretty important. I'm at the point now when I slap it on only when pulling the TT but find it more than handy at times so it sits in my console.

As far as the sppedo goes I now use my GPS for that all the time.

I use a $20 Bluetooth OBD2 reader and a free app for codes. Don't need transmission tenps. Never got warm even towing 4500lbs of vct to a job site.
