JP. Do you have any rubbing? What size tires are on your truck? I got my spidertrax in last week and plan on putting them on this week. I'm running 275/70/17 with a daystar 2.5/1.5 lift. I trimmed the plastic and removed the mud flaps on the front. I have good clearance right now, but was wondering if the spacer was going to make me rub.

My tires are 265/70 17's. I haven't driven the truck yet, but sitting still it looks like there is plenty of clearance.

Thank you for all of the kind words. I am so excited about all of the recent mods. I bought this truck new 7 years ago and with buying a house, vacations, my corvette, etc....I never had any time or money for the T4R. Well now it's time has come.
Rubbing update - This morning was my first time driving with the spacers. Low and behold, I got some rubbing. It is perfect during normal driving, but at full steering lock (such as pulling into a drive way) I got the smallest rub. Upon closer inspection the very outside edge of the tire touches the very edge of the mudflap, but only under load.

Doc, I am a hobby photag and have been practicing since Jr. High, about 20 years. I shoot with a Nikon D90. These pictures were taken with a 50mm lens. The aperature setting was 1.4, the shutter speed was around 640 and the ISO was set at 500. The effect in these pictures is called Bokeh (boh-kay) and is depth of focus trick. The real deal "toy effect" is called Tilt Shift (google it for amazing photos) and unfortunately a tilt shift lens is around $2K......Sorry to ramble.

Thanks for the update...i'm hoping since i've removed the front mud flaps and tripped the plastic, I don't scrape the bumper.
Can't wait to put them on. I can't believe they've been sitting on my desk for a whole week!

With exception of rubbing issue, do you feel any other changes (negative or positive) in the way vehicle drives\ behaves with spacers?

Granted I have only driven about 15 miles today, but no. Everything seems exactly the same.
The other thing is that I have only had the lift on for less than a week. My stock suspension was pretty worn out. Basically, it feels like I have a whole new truck so I might not be the best person to ask.

HAHA! Right on man, you won't recognize it with tint.. Made such a difference on mine,pisses me off I waited so long.. Post some updated pictures when you get a chance

Funny... I'm in the same boat. Had mine for 7 years and now starting to do the mods... same color too! haha.
What made you choose the Ultimate lift over the other options? I'm in the process of ordering the lift and I can't decide. Is the Ultimate lift worth the price if I'm not doing a ton of off roading? I've also read a ton about he XREAS and how it affects the ride. Did you have yours 'disconnected'? If so, does it feel top heavy now around corners?
I was getting ready to pull the trigger on either the Ultimate or the OME, but after reading am now considering the Daystar 2.5/1.5.

The decision was very easy for me. My stock suspension was getting a little squishy. I knew I wanted a suspension lift and not blocks. I knew I wanted to buy from Toytec. There you go.
My truck is an SR5 and did not have XREAS. Made it really easy.

Looks great man! Gotta ask a question, was your truck partially jacked up off the ground in pic 1 up top (the before)? From the before to after front shots, there is a change in the camber. Maybe its the angle of the pic...or just me!!
