Sport flare mounting question

Here are a couple pics...not the best, but you can kind of see. The clips go on the edge of the door, making the threaded hole on the outside of the door. The screws go through the trim into these holes.

definitely different. clips onto the door and then the hole lines up with the threaded part of the clip.

Yep, the clips and threaded holes are one piece, or at least should be. Should not need to drill any holes into the door.

Yep. I wouldn't think they are very much at all. Plus you only need 4 per door. Just make sure to put something between them and the door to protect paint, cause the metal will scratch.
