Just purchased a 2005 4Runner, upgraded from a '97 which I loved. I'm looking to upgrade my rims to the Sport version. I have an opportunity to buy a set for $725 with new General Ameritrac tires.
My question is, does anyone have or are using the Ameritrac tires? Are they worth anything, how's the ride?
I'm a big believer in the Goodyear "Silent Armor" Wranglers, made the '97 ride like caddy.

BTW, if anyone is interested I'll be selling a set of 16" 6 spoke with michelin tires, 10K mile.
