Spotted thread!

Came out of class yesterday and spotted this Land Cruiser that parked next to me. Had an ARB front bumper and some rims with Nitto Ridge Grapplers.

Spotted this between my old photoshop files when I was looking at a totaled 4runner for $850 cash that I wanted to turn into a 2door truck since the rear was outta wack. Still got mixed feelings about it lol

Spotted a white Limited 4th gen with a custom swingout going south on 62 out of Morongo Valley and then west on the 10 around 7:30-7:45-ish last night.

Anyone know who that might have been? I'd like to discuss the swingout.

That might have been me. I ran berdoo canyon in the late afternoon and came out via joshua tree before heading back to riverside. Sounds like about the right time. My bumper isn't custom though-it's a CBI hybrid design.

If it was mine you saw I'd be happy to talk about it or have you look it over some time.

If so, you passed us heading down the hill towards the 10. We were in the black 4th gen. That's cool I was able to track you down on here. I'll send you a PM soon.

Saw a white 5th gen Trail? With black TRD pro wheels and a T4R sticker on the rear hatch window this morning around 7:40am getting onto the 91 West from Magnolia.

I was in the new stock white 5th gen SR5 with without plates.

Nice ride
 
Did/ do they make a Barcelona red pro???? I saw a pretty ligit one today

Does anyone notice that the 4runner crowd (at least through my experience) don't honor the "wave". I usually don't wave at a 4runner unless they show signs that they actually care about their ride, but even then I have yet to have one wave back. :frusty: I have some experience with the jeep crowd and had my left hand sore from all the waving.

Just dealt with this today. Saw a mag gray 5th gen trail coming up behind me, so I slowed a bit. Came up alongside - bumper, full Icon lift, sliders, Gobi rack, tent, method wheels - and barely gave me a glance out the corner of his eye. Passenger didn't pay any attention either. It's not like he didn't see me when he was approaching one lane over. I think that behavior is a pretty good indicator of how friendly someone is. Too cool for anyone else.
 
Saw a TRD Pro Quicksand in Long Beach a few days ago on Willow Street, turning onto Cherry. I really wanted to give them a high five.
 
Spotted a lifted black 5th gen with a front bumper and Gobi rack on the 91 fwy in Cerritos. We both exited Carmenita

Saw a green (3rd gen?) yesterday in Santa barbara, ca. Very clean, mild lift, TRD spoiler, grill mod and black decals.

Nice rig!
