saw a nice blue-grey 5th gen on the 405S this morning. gobi rack & ladder and bronze wheels. V nice looking.
 
Saw a grey SR5 5th gen turning off of Brookhurst near the 405. Blacked out emblems. Lifted. ARB awning. Amber marker lights in grill (just like me)

I'm guilty of this at times! My wife and I will see a nice 4runner coming toward us, and I get so caught up in checking out the 4Runner mods, I don't even see the waving! my wife says "He waved, why didn't you wave back?"

Ha - nearly 100% chance that was me. Hello to you too and feel free to give an air high five next time, i'll give it back!

Although - crazy stuff, I've seen two other quicksands in LA, one in downtown and then one with the license plate 'poison' driven by a pretty cool-looking chick in the hollywood hills.

I live in Long Beach and have a Cement Pro (texas plates for several reasons). I'll be on the lookout for you guys!
 
Im starting to think I am never going to be spotted lol. If you ever see a black 4 runner with a pedo bear sticker in the rear window. That's me. No I am not a pedophile. I just lost a bet and had to stick the pedophile bears on my car for a whole year....I'm hoping he comes off in the car washes...no luck so far lol
 
Just spotted driving down Lakewood.. looks like it had savage front and rear bumpers pretty nice looking truck! Jealous of the roof rack

Seen at "Alien Fresh Jerky" in Baker enroute to vegas yesterday (3/23/17). Drooled for a while. Very clean in person. I didn't say hello though. And didn't have my 4Runner; was in my friends car.

Saw a ton (well, many tons I suppose) of 4runners yesterday in Anza Borrego. I did Lower Coyote canyon up to sheep canyon camp and back. Busiest I think I've ever seen it.

You're not the only member to have set up his tent on a cross-country trip...only mine was to let it dry out after spending a few days in the Redwoods during a nasty storm!:rain:
 
Saw a muddy green 3rd gen rolling down the 33 towards Ventura. SLOW DOWN! It looked like he was racing a green Explorer with other cars around.... don't be an idiot.
