I actually made a list....where are the 3rd gens in the southwest, anyway? From St. Louis to Big Bend NP to Carlsbad to Elephant Butt to Guadalupe to Possum Kingdom to St. Louis....and all the 3rd gens (mostly stock, most looked to be in really good shape) I saw were (plus a couple of honorable mentions and 3 pics):
Azure blue pearl 3rd gen that wasn't mine going eastbound 44 sorta around Springfield
Desert Dune 3rd gen w/ U-Haul 44 westbound around Rolla-ish
Little black pick-up at the Walmart (Midland or a little north, I think) TX
Burgundy 3rd gen northbound on I-20 near Midland, TX
White lifted 3rd gen coming into Stillwell Campground near Big Bend NP, TX, with roof rack
Stellar blue 3rd gen at White Sands near Alamagordo (hope you girls found your phone!!)
Desert Dune 3rd gen running around Las Cruces
Couple of modified Land Cruisers, a white 80 with hilift on the back and an older red one (60?) both in Las Cruces.
Silver 3rd gen getting set up to camp a little off the road at Elephant Butt State Park
I did see lots of stock 5th gens but am only going to mention the one at White Sands because it kinda really stood out.

I see this guy all the time over at the CU Boulder East campus. I'm always in a university box van though.
I see this one every day on my walk in, pretty sure it's supercharged too
