Spotted this one in Gallup NM last night. 4th gen lifted, DeMello front bumper and some other stuff. I was in the black 4th gen with the snorkel.

Saw this nice LC outside of Home Depot in Wellington, Fl. I don't see many vehicles with RTT in tow around here.

Interesting observation. Since moving to Colorado, I probably see an average of 50 4runners per hour driving around SE Denver/Aurora. 80-90% appear to be soccer moms or older guys who don't seem to appreciate what they are driving, so I don't wave, although when I do wave I get weird looks from them

Drove to Green River Wyoming this weekend, and I think I saw 1 4Runner the entire time(after leaving Fort Collins) I had figured there would be more t4rs in Wyoming than I saw.

If your wife or girlfriend in Colorado drives your 4Runner, please tell them to not be surprised by other 4Runner drivers waving, or at least wave back

Ahhahaha! I live here too and I had to stop waving because I kept getting weird looks from just regular people driving regular 4Runners. I think aside from Tacomas, Subarus, and maybe Audis, the 4Runner is probably the most popular SUV here, so your arm is going to get a hell of a workout.

The trick I discovered was that if you can spot a mod, it's likely an enthusiast (not always though).

Odd about Wyoming though since I spotted more than a few on a drive up to Jackson a few years back. I feel like the only major difference in the car choices there was that Wyoming is basically replace all of the Audi's you see here with pick-up trucks...and that's awesome.

Maybe you're a little too close to the Cherry Creek area. It's a lot different over in the foothills. :madgrin:

We just got back from visiting the family in Denver and Fort Collins areas for 10 days, visiting doctors, and wheeling up in the foothills. I hope more of the trails are open when we get back in August. Still bummed that Left Hand Canyon is closed.

I stopped waving around town and started taking a snapshot with my dash cam... then I stopped doing that because it was so often that I was getting distracted from driving.

Living in Colorado is what made me fall in love with the 4Runner in the first place.
