Spotted this fine lookin' 3rd Gen in the lot of National Jewish in Denver. You have a pentagram on your skid plate which doesn't come through on the photo, but it's a very nice touch! I live across the street in the apartments, and wrench on my Runner in the car port back there.

They should pay me a little more so I can get some armor though! Glad you like the pentagram - I've gotten some mixed reactions so far. Are you in the apartment right behind the Subway? That's the only one I can think of with a carport.Is that Red Wings flag in your picture? Tsk tsk

Hah! Yeah, I can imagine the mixed reactions you get to the pentagram. I'll bet they're not unlike the mixed reactions I get to my Detroit Tigers "D" and Red Wings license plate holder in Denver! =p har har. I'm a Detroit boy, born and raised, I can't help it.
My buddy Bernard Wolf works over there too. I do live in the apartments you're thinking of and I think we even passed each other on Albion one morning last week or so.
Anyway, I like your Runner! I'm slowly working on blacking mine out, but it's a long process when you're underpaid! I guess I like my Runner how I like my music...black.
That rig is built to the nines! That guy bought my previous 4Runner and used the engine and trans from it. He did all the wiring himself, making a legit color coded diagram for it all too. That thing is locked, double cases, and awaiting hydro steering.

Haha I can't blame you. It's kinda... weird we aren't in the same division anymore. I actually was rooting for you guys at one point last season, which just felt.. wrong. But right. I had a really interesting experience a few years back in Detroit (stayed in a semi-abandoned hotel) - it's quite a city. Can't really explain it without actually going and giving it a try.
I think I remember passing you! I think you actually pulled over to the side, which was nice. I was probably haulin' if it was after work hahah. I'll have to find a few pictures of yours. I only recently did the black bumpers and grille with plasti-dip (took about 4 cans and 3.5 hours). It wasn't super cheap, but a pretty decent way to get some of it a bit darker. I'm not sure if I'm going to do the whole thing or not yet... might warrant paying for a spray gun then!
I'm good friends with [MENTION=94888]EatonKyleH[/MENTION] and we go up occasionally together and camp/adventure. We should plan a trip sometime!

I know of that 4runner and the girl isn't bad looking. I admire that 4runner all the time when I pass by it.
BTW, I'm pretty sure I saw you on 17 on Saturday kind of by Lexington Reservoir. You have a red Toyota symbol in the front right? Your truck looks great.

Last weekend I spotted a dark blue 1st gen 4runner, with its top on, lifted, carrying a canoe southbound on Route 9 in upstate NY. We rarely see 1st gens in upstate NY so I was wondering if it was a member on here?
