SPOTTED Thread

Spotted a Stellar Blue 3rd gen on hwy 44 today, got off at the Fort Leonard Wood exit. 4 large lights on the roof, some taillight guards, bumper guard, looks like wheels were spaced wider....and running boards....I didn't get a good long look.

They may or may not have spotted a green 99 highlander edition as they zipped by. :D
 
On I-65 south in Birmingham right around the Lakeshore exit on Friday around 3 or so I spotted a black 01-02 sport edition with an ARB front bumper, snorkel, some sort of a lift, and what looked like a 4Xinnovations rear bumper with tire carrier. They passed me, waved a peace sign at me and I gave a thumbs up.

I've actually seen that rig twice in that area, I pass through there fairly frequently on trips.

It seems as if I've been spotted :guitar3:

I've been so busy with school, baseball, and a few unexpected things that life hit me with, and I haven't been able to spend as much time as I'd like on the forums. I need to either make a new thread for the '02 or update the old one. I've swapped a few bits and pieces over from the '01 and I'm trying to decide what I want to do with this bulky ARB on the front.

We should try and have a meet up with all the guys in and around Bham. I'm in the Homewood area specifically. I've seen a white 3rd gen around a few times that is lifted and built with front and rear plate bumpers and winch. I've also seen another 3rd gen that's Herculined black with a Taco front clip and some bronze wheels that looked pretty good too. And of course, there's always a few nice 4th and 5th gens around.

[MENTION=116387]Unner[/MENTION] I saw you from a good bit behind on the interstate and with all the stickers I figured you had to be on the forum. Once I saw your license plate I knew for sure you were on the forum as I definitely recognized your name. I was planning on posting in the this thread too, but you beat me too it as I was in Auburn all weekend. Great looking 3rd gen you've got as well!

Thanks man. I'm down for a meet up or something. I'm in the Huntsville area, but it's only about an hour and a half to the homewood area for me so not too bad. I noticed you came up behind me out of no where, and figured you'd be on here too with a truck like that. With the supercharger I'm sure she's got a little more get up and go over those hills in the Birmingham area than mine... Funny thing is I spent all weekend in Auburn too, that's why I didn't post anything until just a bit ago haha. I saw you get off at whatever exit is right before Lakeshore and I got off at Lakeshore to pick up a buddy and then keep on heading south. It would have been really weird had we seen each other in Auburn too!

Glad someone recognized my license plate too! I've got a few stickers on the back window also... I've got an AOR bumper on order right now, probably the least bulky of all the plate bumper options for the 3rd gen right now. Can't wait to get that and my lift on as well.

White third gen, heading South on 205 630am, lifted sporting what looked like a shrockworks bumper with hoops, full tint, and big pod on top.
 
Damn, just saw a new (w/ temp tags) white TRD Pro on Water St, Uhrichsville, OH. Freaking B-A.

Not many 4Rs around here and even fewer of that truck. In fact I think this is the first one I have seen around here.
 
Saw a 2015 (or 2014 I don't judge) Trail Edition in classic silver with mild lift looked like BFG all terrains and a gobi roof rack with ladder near 48th and France ave in Edina, mn about 20 minutes ago. Looking good! Maybe one day I'll get a 5th gen when they are cheap enough.
 
White 4th Gen blacked out emblems on Route 28 NY

Passed you as I was heading up to Northern Catskills to go camping. Jersey plates? Can't remember... I was so busy trying to figure out if it was a Tacoma or 4Runner.
