I had my brakes/rotors replaced at the dealer last weekend and I just noticed that there is a squeal from the rear wheel (i assume driver's side) that increases as I increase speed. It doesn't stop if I hit the brakes. The vehicle has driven fine all week until my ride home tonight when I noticed the noise. I would have noticed it earlier, so it definitely just started. Sounds like the wheel is on crooked and something is rubbing. I pulled over and started pumping the brake pedal hoping it was just something sticking and I had a few yellow lights on e dash pop on for about 5 seconds.
I'll probably take it back to the dealer in the morning, but if it's a simple fix I may try it myself. Any ideas would be appreciated.
What worries me is they had to keep my car overnight because the tech screwed up some ?springs? on the rear brakes. The advisor told me that they are tricky and they are hard to get back on correctly. I noticed they had 5 techs looking at the rear rotor at one point. Not terribly optimistic that they didn't screw something up.
