Is brake squeal common with aftermarket pads? What level of squeal is acceptable. Had my brakes done the day after I bought my T4R and has squealed since only when applying light pressure. Front pads were replaced and all four rotors resurfaced.
Took it back to shop and they told me pads were dirty and cleaned them(i'd been off road a little plus winter road salt and such). They also said you'll have to accept some level of squeal with after market pads.
I'm anal, and pay attention to detail. Iw want it to go away. If I replace the pads with stock pads will it stop? Any recommendations on high quality non squeal aftermarket pads? I had rotors resurfaced in December 2010. Will they need resurfaced again if I replace pads now?
