Anyone know what this sound might be? This is in my '03 4Runner Sport with a 4.0L
It has been occurring for the last two years, more in the winter or cooler times of the year and thought it was something to do with the heater and fan because of the timing of the seasons.
Finally got under the dash with my phone and with the fan on and played around with temperature settings and for 10 minutes, no sound. Then I tried the brake and gas pedal and finally got it to produce the sound.
Again, it is intermittent on brake usage and during cold or cool temps.
