sr5 package?

A friend was saying I could try to find a sr5 package, which includes all the wires and everything for my 87 sr5 to have power windows and locks. is this true? if so where could i get it? my truck has manual locks,windows, and power steering and back window is powered.

My 87 sr5 has manual locks and windows. No idea if the wiring is there.

And all rear windows 84-95 are powered.

For one thing, you would have to swap the entire wiring harness, or do a lot of splicing and integrating.
And there is no specific SR5 package, it varies. My 84 has power windows, antenna, a sunroof, AC, and the clinometer gauge. My 89 just has a defroster in the rear window, AC, no power anything. Yet both are SR5's.

oh ok, ya he was saying I could doors with power window and locks and get the harness and wire it in myself. thanks for the info

I know for a fact that SOME of the wiring for the extra features exist in the DLX models. I had upgraded my '86 DLX to include the clinometer and SR5 gauges (adding tach, oil pressure and volts). Wiring was there for both, with the only change needed bring to swap the oil pressure sending unit.

Power doors and windows will not be wired to the doors and windows, however wiring may be present between the two, with a connector for each door.

mind explaining the difference between dlx and sr5? my sr5 has the inclinometer so little confused.
