SR5 vs Trail 4x4 system

I'm still amazed there are no TE's with KDSS & Nav for sale here in So. Calif. On the other side of the coin, it appears to be just the opposite in other areas of the country (TX). Salesmen here are completely clueless as to how to get one, and many believe you can't get a TE w/Nav. Has anyone in Calif. had any luck getting a TE w/Nav?

They have to ask for the "ND" option, rather than the "NV" option. The vehicle inquiry report will read: "Factory Installed Accessories: FE CP KD ND TE" which translates to 50 state emissions, convenience package, KDSS, Navigation package, and Trail Edition package.

i wanted the TE, but no dealers had them around me in december and the wife really wanted white. I haven't taken it off road yet, but i think i will be fine with the atrac and lower tire pressure. i went everywhere in my FJ and never had to use the rear locker. only thing needed was the atrac which worked amazing.
