JK, saw the two side attachment points.

Bump again for a link to the amber corner blinkers and DOT compliant fog lights

Super pumped how this turned out and it fit really well. Still need to paint it and get some lights on.

About to meet up with the welder to test fit this bumper. Are there only 6 attachment points in the front? Or are there some on the side? View attachment 297167

I’m guessing you figured this out but there are also 2 bolts on each side (total of 10 attachment points I believe)

For the turn signals I used this one -

The first set I ordered was too small, that 2.7” OD is perfect. Took me a minute to figure out how to stick it to the bumper...never messed with these before. Finally figured out that I had to like pop the flexible part out and smush it flat to create suction.

Since it’s LED I do now get the fast blinker. I ordered some load resistors as well, didn’t really read the instructions and just wired them inline and it didn’t work. I was crunched for time but didn’t get to troubleshoot yet, so for now I’ve just got fast blinkers.

So there’s that flexible part around the outside that kind of makes a lip/channel on the backside of the light. I fold that out and smush the light against the bumper and this creates suction that holds it in place.

It doesn’t seem like it should work but it does. I assume this is how it’s meant to be mounted, otherwise I guess you could glue it. I couldn’t really find any instructions online.

I don’t think it matters, but I just guessed on them, twisted them up at first and tested them. Once I confirmed they worked I made them more permanent.

Finally got my warn m8000 winch mounted, haven’t hooked up the control box or power yet though! Here is a blurry night time pic because it was dark when I finished:

Install wasn’t too tough, other than there really not being much in the way of instructions from Warn. Once I separated all the bolts it all became pretty self explanatory.

I will say, it’s a real pain to try to contort my hands into all the little spaces to work with the winch, I think the new bumper design will hopefully be better with the larger rectangular holes.

In the meantime though - where are you guys putting the controller/solenoid? I’m new to winches so kind of figuring this out as I go.

It seems like the easiest option is to drill holes in the top of the bumper and bolt it on there.

If I wanted it hidden I’d have to find room under the hood, I think near the fuse box. But that would require buying some longer cable, crimping giant lugs on, taking apart the solenoid, replacing cable, then finding somewhere to attach the mounting plate. Aka a PITA.

Anyway, up for ideas.

[MENTION=102266]SRQ-Runner[/MENTION] Will there be an option for narrower bumpers for those of us that wont be running fender flares? I'm not sure if the wider "limited" version will look strange.

Received the kit on Thursday. Have only done about 6 hrs of fitting welding and grinding and this thing is awesome. Essentially just falls into place. Really excited to get this thing mounted up. And it looks like the 10,000 lbs x2o winch will fit once its clocked. More pictures to follow

Mounted it on top of factory fuse block which leaves just enough room and offset for cables to come up in between battery and fuse block.

Forgive the dirty bay, haven’t cleaned it up yet!

Besides the Warn M8000 and the Smitty X2O, has anyone else fitted a winch in these bumpers? Leaning towards the Smitty since I odn't want to spend $900 on a winch, but wanted to look at all my options.
