Starter Won't Quit

This just happened:

I went out to leave and I started the car and it cranked fine but when it fired the starter did NOT stop so I turned the key off. The Engine turned off but then it started to crank again but never fired. This happened for a good 30 sec then just quit.

hum sounds like what the newer Sequoia and Tundra do. it just keep trying to start. i have read somewhere on a Sequoia forum that he changed the battery out and it stopped. i have called the dealer and they told me the newer truck has a auto starter that will keep trying. My sister's 2006 Sequoia has this problem most of the time when she starts it on a cold start. my 2004 Tundra only did this twice on me.
