Stealership garage monkey!

Personally I feel that just about the entire Dealership (any of them) is full of idiots. I have 25 years of experience dealing with them to support this. I really don't feel the need to be "politically correct" here.

I can't stand going in there and I haven't been back since I bought my 4Runner. Hope I don't have to. I find they usually know less about their product than they should. I have only met a few competent people at dealerships over the years. My experience, nobody can change my opinion on this. I have been screwed too many times to be complacent about it.

Garage Monkey indeed. Make them fix it until you are satisfied completely.

I think ~75% of salesman/mechanics are dealerships are idiots.

Thank god that I am mechanically inclined and do all my service and any needed repairs. When I bought a new Lexus years back it came with a complimentary 5000 mile oil change. I did not even take it to the dealer for that. I could care less about their "free" oil change. I did it myself.

Most of them are definitely monkey's no need to sugar coat it.

My experience too....I'd rather face a den of rattlesnakes then go to the dealer for maintenance !

Gotta watch though!Some day you'll have to go the dealer.
