Steering Alignment

I'm having trouble getting my alignment done right - it's been back to the dealer 3 times now & I am still thinking something is wrong. the dealer has a laser alignment rig and everything checks out fine. But it pretty much doesn't matter what sort of road it is my truck always wants to go right either after 20 or 30 yards or up to 100 yards, is it just the way roads are made or is it my truck? When I keep it straight the steering wheel is an irritating 1" or so down on the left from centre. The problem is my other cars don't do that and when I rent cars on business trips they don't do that either. So it is just they way these trucks are as my dealer says....................

How bad are the crowns in the road out there? An inch isn't a really good sense of how much you have to turn the wheel; degrees or minutes tend to work better with circular objects (i.e. are you turning it about 15° left from center or more to keep the vehicle straight?)

The factory suspension geometry has fairly low Caster which can make it wander a bit, which is something that has been noted at freeway speeds by many members from a stock standpoint. But this sounds like you have a slight right pull.
