Steering Rack Leak / Broken?

I was out on the trail this weekend and my passenger tire was forced outwards. This resulted in all my power steering fluid to be puked up, and all loss of power steering.

In the picture the outer part of the steering rack has been pulled out. I'm able to pull the whole assembly out, but cant seem to push it back in.

I'm wondering if i need to hammer it back in or if its just shot and the whole rack needs replaced.

Thanks

This seems like it just needs screwed in via the threads that are exposed when i pull it out. When I thread it in i can no longer pull this piece out

Could this of been just unthreading itself and finally just came completely undone to let out the fluid out? It seems to twist in without much force, and the threads don't look damaged.

I still have control of my steering. The tie rod itself has no play or movement. I finished the trail (it sucked) and drove i70 home, just had to muscle the wheel around.
