Stickered up wind fairing.... yay or nay?

Call me dense, but I don't know what a wind fairing is. What part are you talking about? Is this meaning the roof rack part?

Either way - if it makes you happy, go for it.
 
I didnt want to put any stickers on the runner so they are all up on the faring. The wife complains less too.
 
I don't put stickers on my vehicles, I think they're tacky in my opinion.

Nay for me.
My wind fairing is blank (i took the Gobi sticker off too)
i don't like stickers personally and have none on any of my vehicles past or present.
 
I got a couple stickers on my rear window.. Mammoth, Coachella, and of course t4r.org. Other stickers that don't make the cut, make it onto the lift gate.
 
It's a good question, though obviously very subjective. I'm waiting on my drabbits rack, so you know......next year this question will be relevant to me! But I've kinda been wondering the same thing. I'm typically not a decorate the truck kinda guy, but have seen some folks vehicle that look like a cool scrapbook of where they have been/done.

Hahah I guess as long as they're strategically placed and not just sticker bombed. Sticker bombing is more of a late teen to early 20s thing that people seem to do to "rice" out their cars/trucks.
 
I guess my answer is that I wouldn't drive around with an empty roof basket, so I don't have a fairing to put stickers on. I only put on the basket or boxes when I'm going to use them. You're giving up around 2mpg. The testing I found show the fairing actually makes it worse, not better.

^ With that, I'll have to say that the added stickers would likely create more drag and decrease the MPG even more...

So with the stickers, make sure to add some speed holes.

I like it, but it really only matters what you think. I for one love stickers/decals, I would put them on our dogs if my wife didn't say it was "inappropriate". You will always find someone, on any argument, for or against it, at the end of the day if your happy with it, thats all that matters.

I mainly did it to stick out and be different, back in the day aka in 2010 everyone pretty much had the same mods: gobi stealth, duracraps, konig countersteers, 3 in lift. My bombed fairing made mine a little different until I got hardcore and got bumpers and a ton of rigids lol.
 
Stickers on vehicles...

I have a co-worker that INSISTS people with stickers are more prone to road rage. My question: Even those that say "Coexist", "Visualize Whirled Peas", "My Child is an Honor Student at...", etc. :pound:

Ha, those mods are the same that I have. I now know my path.
