By my dumbass neighbor and his move in special girlfriend! She couldn't get her lazy butt out of the Uhaul cab to help him back up the Uhaul and boop! Rear fender pushed in on the new 4Runner.

I'm sure I can remove with a heat gun. But I've got some shops that will give me a repair quote for any $$$ I specify. Looks like some new mats in my future!

Sorry to hear. The same thing happened to me when I bought my new 4R. I was on my way home from the dealer and I got rear ended at a light at about 30 mph and got pushed into the truck in front of me. No one got to even see my new toy before it got hit!! GRRRR But thankfully the trailer hitch saved most me. Of course the MDX that hit me was totaled haha....thank you Toyota for making the 7500lb hitch!

You may be able to have a company like bumper solutions fix that for you. I had a minor thing like that from a trail run and they fixed it in my driveway in a few hours for about 300 bucks. Much cheaper than a formal repair shop. Good Luck!

why even bother trying to fix it, let insurance take care of it. it was hit while parked. no deductible or surcharge.

myself being an appraiser i would write for a new bumper all day.IIRC a new Oem Bumper is about 239.00. you are going to have more than that in labor anyway.

Mine isn't as bad as the one shown in the photo. It is a tiny dent underneath by the tailpipe. I was going to give it a go with the hair dryer but since my weasal neighbor won't man up and return a call the insurance co's will be consulted. Maybe a new bumper is in my future...
