From what I'm gathering is that these are 4.5" BS. Can someone confirm this?

Don't you also have to add/subtract the thickness of the mounting area which is probably around .5"

LOL, yeah, i just found it and put it in there in the 4th gen section. It gave me 5.5" BS which I hope is wrong
I'm hoping for 4.5 so I don't have to get a 1" spacer up front.edit: After playing around more with the wheel calculator I see the mounting pad is the only point of interest which only makes sense so it looks like 5.5" is my backspacing....crap.

Yeah, I've been looking for wheels and noticed that with the calculator too. I don't know why it says 5.5".
I think you'll want spacers if you get those wheels though. Most 4th gen owners prefer the spacers with them or wheels with 4.5" backspacing.

I found a set of 4 tires and wheels for $200 which I'm buying but was hoping for an easier fit. I see you're in Tuscaloosa in addition to the gump...I need a set of those wheel adaptors from wabfab

Yup, I usually spend most of the week down here in the gump and the weekends in t-town.

I'm going to hijack my own thread here...
Do you have any places you ride around there? Trails and what not? I typically just ride some trails near lake martin or dirt roads and such since getting the 4runner last year. Used to go to Morris Mtn when I had my 80 but other than that my offroading is pretty tame or lame however you wana see it, lol.

There isn't much but there are a couple of spots in t-town, out in the national forest, a couple of pipelines, and there is a place in Brookwood with some decent stuff. I haven't been wheeling there in a while so I can't say a lot. I'd suggest looking up UAORC (University of Alabama Off Road Club) or contacting the president Mitchell Galloway on facebook, they meet up and go every few weeks. Kregg and NashvilleRunner from t4r.org are also members, the trails they run usually aren't too crazy.
Honestly there is some pretty cool stuff in t-town (a lot of tough power & gas lines) I used to hit in my Z71 (and have the body damage to prove it) but I was in high school and most of that stuff was trespassing.
edit: Have you been to the tuskeegee national forest up here by me? I haven't been because I don't know any 4wds down here to go with but Autbond said there were some good trails in there.

It's a damn shame because I've lived near tuskegee all my life but I haven't driven in the national forrest that much. The local club here is the War Eagle Cruisers which used to have some 3rd gens in it but have since been sold off or traded for either landcruisers or 1st gens. Thats the group I used to go to Morris Mtn with when I had my 80 but haven't done any riding like that with my 4runner since purchase last year in august.
Most of the trails near lake Martin are your typical powerline trails which I rarely ride those but the county dirt roads (which actually show up on my GPS) are ones I frequent and are pretty damn extreme considering these are county roads lol. I mean you have to pick lines on these roads or suffer rocker panel damage if you're like me and don't have sliders welded on yet
Maybe we could hit up some of those trails in Tuskegee sometime....Anything tame to mild would be good for me these days.

Will do. I'm sure I'll be heading to the Skegee NF in the near future....I just looked at an aerial map and definitely looks like something I want to explore not to mention its just down the road.
