Stock Bumper Weight?

I have a 2005 4Runner SR5 V6 that I put a leveling kit on. I had a 3" offset so I used a 2 1/2" leveling kit, but this ended up actually making the front now higher than the rear. I am considering getting a bumper, though, and thinking that the weight of a big aftermarket bumper will level it out more. I weigh ~155 lbs and when i stand on the front this levels it out almost perfectly...One of the bumpers I'm looking at is the shrockworks, which weighs 137 lbs. What I need to know is the weight of my stock bumper, because 137 lbs alone would probably be almost perfect, but after subtracting the weight of what I'll be taking off to install this new one I'm not so sure. Any thoughts?

It would be damned difficult to tell you what sort of affect, a Shrock bumper will have on your Runner without more information. First, how many miles are on your Runner and is it still sitting on the original OEM coils? I have Toytec Ultimate coils/Bilstein 5100's on my '05. When I installed my Shrock bumper, the front end dropped by a half inch. I assume that on sagging, OEM shocks, it will drop considerably more. Um, why not just add a couple of 1.5" spacers on to your rear coils?

Stock bumper with support pieces weigh approximately 23 lbs.

chmura, you have a 2009 and I have a 2005. How much difference in weight would there be?

and preacher, like I said I weigh ~150 lbs and me standing on the front levels it out by 1/2"-1". So if my bumper weighs similar to a 2009 one, adding a shrockworks would add about 100 pounds to the front...I'm thinking that may do 1/4"-1/2".

Did you just lift it? wait a few hundred miles. It will drop down some more
