Stock wheel, 285/75

I tried searching but could not get a definite answer. I have a 97 sr5 with 2.5" daystar lift, stock 16" wheels. Looking at buying General grabber at2 tires size 285/75/16

First question:

Will I have issues with the 285's on the 7" stock rim?

2nd:

Do I need wheel spacers to keep from rubbing?

1: From what I've heard, the tires will fit just fine as long as you don't air down too much, but some tire shops won't mount that wide of a tire on a 7in rim.

2: You will probably need wheel spacers as well as a bit of cutting/pounding to fit those tires without any rub at full lock or when they are stuffed.

I don't run that large of a tire and am purely relaying information that I have read, so forgive me if anything is incorrect.

I run 285's and I have a 3 inch lift and 1.25" wheel spacers and I still rub sometimes but that's because I have a limited and it has flares. You will most likely need a little bit of a wheel spacer because the 285's with stock rims with no back spacing might rub on your A arms which you don't want. Even a 1" spacer would be fine, just so it clears them. They should fit fine on the stock rims

You will need spacers. On my factory wheels they were on the UCA. I did -25mm offset and hardly no rub and great stance. Love my at2 by the way. Best tire I have ever owened.
