How are you mounting the kayak racks to the K9 rack? still trying to decide if the K9 will work best for me, so seeing your uses with it has been great.

How are you mounting the kayak racks to the K9 rack? still trying to decide if the K9 will work best for me, so seeing your uses with it has been great.

I built some crossbars to attach my kayak racks. I had to use J-Cradles to be able to fit all three kayaks and so I needed crossbars. I made them removable so I can use them for the kayaks and take them off whenever I need a flat rack. Scroll back through this thread and you should see some pictures of the mounts I built

2nd, when I get back to the US, Id like to get you to show me around the AZ area for trails and whatnot! Your adventures look fun as shit!
So today I headed out with my buddy who owns Adventure Driven and is a professional photographer. We had a blast wheeling around Flagstaff and he got some awesome shots. MUCH better than I could ever take.

Thanks! I really do love the Trail wheels in black and I think you will too. If you have the money I suggest going the powder-coating route from the start though. It is a million times better than plasti-dip.
There are tons of great trails in AZ. I use the Funtreks guide to find trails to explore and I would say it is a must-have! Really awesome book. I would definitely be down to meet up and run some trails as well though, just let me know!

A few pictures from my 4th of July weekend camping trip. I was able to kayak on Woods Canyon Lake one day and Willow Springs Lake the next

Sweet! I LOVE that boat. Really fast on the water and SUPER comfortable seat. Good size dry storage as well. Can't wait to see your pics of it in use :high5:

Its pretty addicting! Constantly buying things for the 4Runner is pissing my bank account and my lady off. But, as long as you are happy and your 4Runner looks fresh, that's all that matters right?

that is agreat awning solution, although I prefer the brown/silver double sided tarp myself, it is by far more economical, cheaply replaceable, and multi-purposed. :thumb:

Been a while since I went and actually ran some cool trails so on Saturday I decided to hit the road. I ran Greasy Spoon in Sedona and Smiley Rock down by Jerome. Both were awesome
Random photo of my roofliner patch collection. Been to quite a few more national parks than shown but I am working on finding cool patches for them.
Fun little climb into the Smiley Rock Trail
Tight Squeeze. Impossible to avoid those Arizona pin-stripes on this trail

Rock Garden. This part of the trail was no stinkin' joke. Giant boulders that you had to align perfectly to avoid damage and I had no spotter this day unfortunately. I made it through but did slip a couple of times and hit the wheels

Dashboard Light Bright
And then the torrential rains started. I decided on trails south of Flagstaff because they weren't supposed to get rain but it must have followed me. Hail and a downpour of rain made it a real challenge to get out
Hard to show just how much rain was coming down in pictures but it was buckets
