For all those who have unbolted the front diff and it "just dropped out"... F**K YOU:flipoff:
Took me forever to wiggle it free. Hopefully the next one come out quicker. My buddy made a funny comment when I finally got it out.. "dude, your 4Runner just gave birth"
Decided to go ahead and swap in my 99+ headlights today, but for some reason the passenger side isn't lining up. The little connector piece that sits under the headlight is not lined up with the lens like it should. The Driver side however lines up perfectly.
I also noticed that the adjusters in the back are different from the OEM headlights on the 98 as well as those on my 2000. I'm thinking that I was sold a miss-matched set(one OEM, one not).
Ideas? Could I just swap the lens/housing onto my old backing mount?
She's all back together!(except for putting the budbuilts back on)
e-locker and matching front diff in, 231mm Tundra brakes done including stainless lines front and rear as well as several new hard lines, 99+ headlights and clear corners. IPF 900xs set coming in the next couple weeks as well as some 285/75 Duratracs on the new wheels(these will be my DD tires).
Been a while since I updated. Here are a few pics form a trip to the U.P I took this winter with my bro and some friends for ice climbing. This is in Grayling MI on the way back:
