Stripped O2 sensor bolt. Suggestions?

Area is a bit tight for a torque wrench even with a universal.

My standard routine is several rounds of: wire brush off all excess crud/rust, heat with MAPP gas torch, quench (heat shock) with PB Blaster and let it penetrate the nut/bolt, impact gun set to kill. In this situation I would use vice grips clamped down as tight as I could get. If that wasn't working like someone else said, cut the nut with a dremel vertically, perpendicular to the threads, and then wash-rinse-repeat with heat/pb blaster to get it into the threads. Should come right off. Just make sure you don't start your carpet on fire with the heat from the MAPP gas by heating the floor pan. :madgrin:

Heat heat heat heat heat heat!

I deal with this kind of crap all day long, the only consistantly effective way to losen stuck nuts and bolts is with heat. You are working in a place that can handle it, grab yourself a propane torch (im assuming a oxy/acet is unavailable) and heat that sucker up till it glows. Wait for it to cool a bit and grab on with some vice grips.
