Oem pins you can get at a junkyard or a dealer or go to ace or fastenal hardware and buy a groved pin or clevis pin that can take a quarter inch circlip. Also hillman bushing,

AFA you want to use a smaller bolt as long as it doesn't interfere with the operation and functions properly then do it for now while you source the parts.

My solution was that the strut you buy from Olathe comes with the bracket and the pins all as one unit, so I bought those instead of scouring a junkyard or buying a pipe cutter and making some of the materials myself. Easier, faster, less of a hassle.

My StrongArms are starting to lose their charge after about 6 years. Anyone know if it's worth having them rebuilt or just buy a new set?

Does anyone know the size circlip/retaining clip for these lift supports?

I've used safety wire or a paper clip in a pinch, but there's so much pressure on the pins that they are not prone to falling out.

Ace hardware carries the clips, or something very close in size that I've pinched tighter
