Stuck CV feels like rollers are out of cup

Hello, it has been a while. I am replacing the boots on my 2004 with it off the ground not on a rack. I can not pound enough or pry my drivers side CV out. When I pull on the outer joint it looks like the inner joint rollers are in the boot not in the metal cup.
I can also feel the rollers if I stick my fingers up inside the boot.
I tried a lot but not making any ground. I turned the shaft to different points and made sure the shaft was as straight as possible. I could sure use any tips on best way to generate enough energy under the thing to get it to come lose. I am afraid to pry on it as the lip of the cup that fits against the differential looks fragile.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Medium barreled air chisel at 130psi didn't even move it. It is cutting into the cup a little though.

I've found that a 3' bar against that corner lip you, used going to the opposite side of the car, then a couple whacks on the end with a heavy hammer, will do the job. If no luck then turn the axle 180 degrees and try again.

axle forks work great. stick it in and a couple pounds of the hammer and shes loose.

That's normal. The only thing stopping the outer part of the axle from coming out of the inner boot is the boot itself (the wheel hub also held it in place before you unbolted it). If you pull hard enough you can rip the boot and separate the axle into 2 halves.

When I did my axles one of the wouldn't come out after a few minutes hammering a fork behind the axle, but I left the fork wedged in there overnight and sprayed some PB blaster on it, and when I came back in the morning it popped loose with one light tap of the hammer.

I will get the axle popper. I looked at them yesterday but I am unsure if the 4runner's CV is larger than normal automotive cv's. I see no mention of sizes when I view axle poppers. The Width of the cup is 3.5" and the ID of the collar is 2.6". Are all CV's the same size ??

Do I have to destroy that lip using the axle popper ?? Yes it pretty much cut and bent it. Do I have to replace the joint after using axle popper ?? I bent the lip back, the whole thing seems to spin as one unit so it is less of a deal. I tested it with new seal on hand and bent back into to shape is good for me, no replacement lip, which does come off easy. No replacement cup/CV, I think it is fine..

I used this axle puller/fork from autozone, along with their matching slide hammer: https://www.autozone.com/loan-a-tools/loaner-fwd-axle-puller-adapter

And I also had to destroy that dust seal/metal lip to get the axle puller in. The other side came out with just a pry bar, though.
