Stuck Ignition? The simple inexpensive fix!!

Done. If you dont have the immobilizer chip I would put in a new cylinder but since I do I am down to 3 wafers. had to do some filing on them and the inside of the cylinder. It was pretty torn up. but it works easy now.

Poster above me did not read the FIRST post in the thread! Too long ago to help them now. Maybe they figured it out.
Maybe. But that post raised a good question: if you wanted to grab an ignition cylinder from a junkyard, how would you remove it, short of drilling out the pin?

Well, if you figure out how to rekey them, as I just did today (write-up coming soon), .. well, that's the answer.
I don't see why you wouldn't just rekey/refresh your current ignition cylinder, but to each their own. If it was me I would get a new ignition cylinder and rekey the doors to match that.
