You would be surprised how much people want a vehicross. They apparently are off road beasts!

Four Wheeler featured the VehiCROSS as the "First Runner Up" for Four Wheeler of the Year in 2000 behind the Tahoe Z71; when pitted against: Chevrolet Tahoe Z71, GMC Yukon, Nissan Xterra, Ford Excursion and Mitsubishi Montero Sport. The VehiCROSS scored highest of all 6 Mechanically, for Trail Performance and Highway Performance

I can't believe people thinks that's cool. I saw a Honda Civic one time with rims like that, it looked terrible, then I hear someone say "Dude that is sick!":nono:

Seeing vehicles like this make me FEEL sick! I just can't even imagine ANY standard by which this makes a bit of sense. While I'm no fan of chrome or extreme lowering or 20+ inch wheels, I can at least understand those to some extent, but THIS? Not in a million years could I see a purpose for rims that stick out of the tires AT ALL (let alone many inches past), and so horribly off camber that they practically drag on the fender lip. What's next--square wheels?

For the record, I'm one of those that actually LIKES the Isuzu Vehicross--just has a quirky yet purposeful look to it.

OMFG, I want to castrate the designer of the '07 ES 350, just did an Alternator on one at the shop, what a PITA! at least the labor paid was 5 hours. .

Don't feel bad--I did one on my old '88 Accord many years ago, and that required disassembly of the front suspension and axle on that corner to remove the alternator (won't come out the top)! Darn engine compartments are so tight on those little cars. To make matters worse, the re-man'd unit I put in failed, and I had to do it AGAIN! Went with a brand-new, from Japan unit that time, and all was right in the world again (LOL).

As if I didn't love my new (used 2000) 4Runner enough, this thread just made it that much better! My fav is the celica. My wife had the exact same one n color and we just sold it for the 4runner......after seeing that video I'm thinking I might have made a mistake!

For the record, I'm one of those that actually LIKES the Isuzu Vehicross--just has a quirky yet purposeful look to it.

There are really only 2 things that bother me about it, the head lights and the spare. Other than that, I like it.
My own guilty pleasure is the Honda Element. I know lots of people think those are ugly as sin, but I love em.

Yupp! Im not quite sure its "good" money though. Probably "bad" money as it was probably profits from cocaine and human trafficking.
And I know you meant that they spent "good" as in, "a lot" of money

My Dad used to have one with a flow master exhaust. It was a beast of car and really cool. All came with recarro two tone seats and was just a very capable vehicle. Sucks they only made it for such a short time. Oh and the biggest adjustment to driving it was the lack of rear window visibility due to the built in tire carrier.
