An S430 does not have any AMG performance upgrades. An S55 AMG has a supercharged AMG V8 and an S65 has a biturbocharged V12. Those are the S class models available at that time with that AMG logo on the trunk.

An S430 has a standard Mercedes Benz V8. No AMG parts. At best, his wheels have AMG logos on them. He could have been referring to his wheels, but he's used the same logo from an S55 or S65 AMG.

Use of it on an S430 is stupid. This is a stupid cars thread. Meanwhile, my use of TRD Supercharged! logos are used properly as the vehicle is installed with a TRD Supercharger.

I wouldn't have posted this but this driver was impeding the flow of traffic because he was texting. So I snapped a pic while waiting for the light. Oh yeah the wheels are stupid looking... :puke:

x2 my stepdad bought an 06 s430 from our neighbor for a pretty good deal, had 15k miles on it. Said it had the AMG package... definitely not any performance upgrades. The thing is a tank, I hate that car. Hate all the unneccesary gadgets and stuff like getting warnings if your tire is 1psi lower than the others etc etc etc. Stupid. Nice on the highway, otherwise I'd much rather be in my 4runner.
 
COB, first off let me say how much I enjoy this thread. Everyday I log on, I always check the latest pics. Many times my wife will come over wondering why I'm laughing like a mental patient. Then I show her the 'donked (ca)maro',:crazy: the 'troka perona':barf: aka the GM POS, the vid of the 'supercharged' 350Z,:pound:! Fk ,I'm in tears just thinking about all these morons. Which brings me to a frightening thought: some of these idiots have sons. Picture junior in the apartment parking lot watching 'dad?' bolting, taping, and gluing this crap onto the 'ride'. :scared:

Just for the record, yellow is one of Ferrari's racing colors--it's an official color of the company, not an owner's wild imagination.

Yeah I know. Doesn't mean is isn't hideous though. Everything being subjective, it makes my list of stupid cars. Apologies to anyone whose favorite color is pac man yellow.

Agreed. When I think of Ferrari, I think RED! I believe silver is also one of their standard colors, besides red, yellow, and black. I wouldn't want a yellow one, either...unless, of course, someone willed one to me (LOL).
 
I've been collecting pictures over the years and probably have hundreds. I always planned to get them organized and start a site but life keeps happening. I'll see if I can post some up here when I get some time.

The wing on the dually is silly, but the stacks are downright hilarious! Nothing screams "I'm a dorky redneck!" quite like pulling your exhaust from its nice hidden location under the truck and running it up the side of your rig for all to see (where it's going to get hit, burn people who bump it, block your mirrors, and basically be in the way constantly).

Man they are everywhere down here... I've even seen a 4-banger Ranger with dual 4" pipes where they cut in the bed to route them behind the cab.
