In the asian market they are referred to skylines and silvias over there. I know sad..that they are compared to the once infamous skyline's

My Prius is a great car. Great mileage, lots of space, has a lot of tech that you normally only see in luxury brands, and they are super reliable. It is great at the design objective of being super practical and cheap to run.

I understand some points you make I guess just now with how far the market has come since the initial offering of the Prius, I dont see it as an option anymore. I mean the Fords hybrid is fair, but I would agree with most real time users feedback that I would get a jetta tdi for better mileage, comfort, and room. But I again totally understand why Prius will always be. Great selling car.

My wife drives in city traffic coming home from work (30 minutes to cover 9 miles). A TDI returns 0 mpg idling in traffic. I also had an '07 GTI before my 4Runner. Is 15 times in the shop in 3.5 years too much? Any fuel savings would be offset by the repair bills... and the assault and battery charges wouldn't go well the next time a VW service manager tells me that the AC is working fine when temps over 85 outside resulted in unbearable heat inside the car.

I even have a 2" hitch receiver on it. Haha

Well I looked it up because I wasn't 100% sure and I was wrong the G35 and G37 are skylines that are imported to the US under infinity and the EX is known in Japan as the skyline crossover which surprised me.

His "aftermarket" calipers(painted) said AVALANCHE. Just incase he forgot what he was driving or so you wouldn't confuse them with Brembo...so much bling on every side of the vehicle.
