you all could grow up too, you dont like my comments then fine dont read them, but i didnt attack anyone or break any forum rules. so whats your beef? your gonna call me immature because of my user name? maybe you should grow up a little, i have had that nick name for a long time, got it from the first shop i worked at, where i was the youngest one in there, working with a bunch of guys who were old enough to be my dad. but they accepted me and appreciated my work, and my work ethic values and other such things like my service.

where are your contributions to this thread? or are you guys just gonna troll this section till you hook something like my post?:fish2:

Grow up...really? I dont think it has anything to do with growing up on our ends but simply the lack of maturity and tactlessness in your post. No one was bashing your work ethic, job, or craftsmanship. Just simply saying was everything in that post really necessary to write? Even if there was no personal attack it still reflects poorly on the rest of t4r when there are posts similar to that. Lastly in talking about ethics in your rebuttal post you will see the giant contradiction with your self description of ethical and your original post.

Really? Cast the first stone. You do realize what story that derives from right? Ironic that you talked about banging a chick in the back of a car then say dont judge me. On another note you would be surprised how many people act out or not themselves when in a large group(mob) or can act out of anonymity. Several studies have been done on this. You yourself admitted you wouldn't say this in person, then why say it at all. . Again not telling you to conform just common courtesy and reiterating that if you wouldn't say it in person why say it on here?

I don't understand the banging the chick reference, but otherwise I agree with kid that that truck was a POS and crazy (in my opinion). I don't think it reflects badly on anyone what he said, most of us are guys around here and personally I hear/say a lot worse stuff on a daily basis and I don't even work at a shipyard. It is an online forum, so everything you read has to be taken with a grain a salt and no one should read in too deeply or get overly concerned--ESPECIALLY when it's the OFF TOPIC section. If this was in a thread about helping some poor guy then it would be a little out of place I think, but it's all relative.

So in that regard I think wadle and the other guys have a point, I just don't think it's completely valid in the sense kid posted in this thread. I can see some outsider looking at this thread first and being turned off (I wouldn't be though), but they also wouldn't be looking at the actual forum so to speak.

End ramble. Seems like everyone is getting heated over something hardly anyone sees, and kid is a good guy and helped me on lots of stuff and wadle is cool and a good guy from what I've read. Cool your jets dudes, this is a thread about stupid cars after all ...not to get involved...

its really funny cause im sure the owners of all of these vehicles would be appalled at all of us for posting their cars here in this thread. im sure if you asked them they would all post their vehicles under the "cool cars thread", and they would probably post some of the cars in that thread in here, or maybe some of our vehicles... my point is here, that everything is relative, its all biased on our opinions and its very subjective. most of us like 4x4s that are modded to suit our needs or wants. im sure a lot of you would think my snorkel is dumb.... well thats fine. its the same for me saying that i think that guys $90k G Wagon is dumb/stupid, and i think his G Wagon now stands for Gay wagon and not Geländewagen like Mercedes calls it. but obviously someone thought that was cool and liked it so they did it, and they actually did a good job with the mods, or at least paid someone to do a good job. still not my tastes or the tastes of most of us.

so yeah i made fun of him, and i made a joke about having intercourse with a fictional woman in the back of that SUV and being less than a gentleman about it sorry. but really guys stop trying to split hairs on this. this thread is for humor, if you dont like the humor stop trying to police it move on to something you like. no one should be forced to share your values, obviously my values are not shared, so how would you like them imposed on you?... and this goes for everyone not just the people on this forum, we all place different "values" on different "things" or beliefs ect. diversity is so great if left alone.

Relax dude, going on a spiel about your work ethics is completely irrelevant. My only point is that referring to someone's car as "gay with aids" is just uncalled for and sounds like something you would hear a bunch of immature kiddies say. It's also the kind of language that gets an otherwise great thread closed or deleted when site sponsors see it and make a complaint to the admin.

I honestly have nothing against you personally and couldn't care less if you run around making fun of people with aids or gay people, that's your own prerogative. My only point was why not have some courtesy and not drag this thread down that path for everyone else.

Sure I don't post in this thread as often as others, but if you search I have posted from time to time; but I do frequent this thread often and it would suck if it got deleted.

It's ugly and I would never drive it for obvious reasons but I'm actually pretty impressed with it in a way. I don't know how to explain it but its definitely some art there.

I don't like them but I definitely respect them. The people that drive them put more work into them than just about any other vehicle owner. Hideous yes, but still a work of art in its own way
